What are the Acai Berry Side Effects?

July 11th, 2010 · 6 Comments · Acai Berry FAQ

Hi guys. I’ve heard about Acai Berry and how it’s great for losing weight on Oprah and Rachael Ray. I’m about to purchase some but I wanted to know if there are any side effects to using Acai Berry?

Thanks for your help

I have been drinking Acai juice for about a year now and found that it did give me more energy and I actually lost about 10 lbs, not changing anything. I would agree that it seems to decrease appetite.

Acai is one of the hottest products in the health and nutrition industry, and it is very difficult to go through a day where you do not see an ad online for one of many Acai products on the market. These ads promise amazing health benefits from the Acai fruit such as; anti-aging, cancer prevention, a boost of energy, and mood improvement. If true this would make Acai an amazing fruit…but is it too good to be true?

Being a long time Acai user I can emphatically say "YES!" Acai juice has made a dramatic difference in my life. It’s the first thing I have to drink every morning and it gives me enough energy to accomplish all of my goals each day.

I used to be a huge Redbull drinker, but always hated the inevitable crash I would get just a few hours after drinking one. When you drink Acai berry juice you get that same boost of energy without the caffeine crash.

Since I prefer to get my vitamins from as many natural sources as possible, I consider the Acai berry my natural multivitamin. It contains high levels of essential fatty acids, is rich in amino acids (19 amino acids to be exact), and is a good source for vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, C and E. On top of that it is a great source of fiber and contains calcium, potassium, magnesium, copper, and zinc.

The high antioxidant content helps fight off cancer cells and helps you grow stronger, healthier, hair and will give you smooth, glowing, skin. The Acai berry also helps boost your immune system so you will get sick with the common cold and flu less often.

So, if you are asking "Does Acai berry really work?" the answer is a resounding "YES".

To my knowledge there are no side effects to Acai since it is just a natural fruit.

Now a friend of mine used a Acai Weight Loss product listed below for weight loss and she said it worked. It comes with a free trial – I just ordered it myself to check it out.

According to all the buzz on the internet, no side effects have been found for acai. Check the link below if you want to look further.

I do want to warn you that the acai berry craze is filled with SCAMS, especially on the internet. I definitely suggest trying to buy the product in a health food or vitamin store. Probably your best bet is Sambazon or another product with a well-known brand name. I suggest using the powder instead of juices, which are probably filled with water and sweeteners.

In terms of scams, I am speaking from personal experience. I ordered a free trial of Acai Berry Power 500. On my next credit card, I noticed an extra charge of $29.95 from that acai company. I called them and they said I had agreed to a personal nutrition consultation for $29.95. To make a long story short, I had to threaten them with a lawsuit before they refunded that extra charge.

I also ordered Acai Berry Supreme. A few weeks later, I got another bottle in the mail, even though I never asked for it. I left the shipping box unopened and wrote on it: Return to Sender. Do Not Charge My Credit Card for This Product. Then I put the item back in a mailbox. I am worried about what my next credit card will say. I’ve heard of people being charged $89 for the next shipment.

Not really sure what I would recommend to you specifically. There are so many products out there so what I end up doing is starting with the less expensive and trying out several trials and measuring the results.I would check out the site at http://www.pure-acai-berry.saverightnow.info visit and see if it interests you, I did.

    Hi,

Acai seems to be risk free if taken as recommended http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rlz=1T4DKUS_enUS302US302&q=acai+health+news

Beware of the free trial offers though – Unfortunately many are scams in so much as they make it very difficult to cancel your subscription.

Best to only buy from companies that offer Paypal/Google Checkout as a payment option as it is very easy as a buyer to make a complaint and get your money back.

    Trust this helps,

    VSC
