I try to count calories, but find that tricky sometimes especially if I am out on business and am focussed on the clients. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I began my weight loss journey 2 months ago. I began weighing 354 pounds. At my last weigh in, I weighed 330 pounds. I have been eating Cheerios for breakfast, lean cuisine meals for lunch and dinner, and drinking a lot of water. I have also added a fiber drink mix to my regimen twice daily and various fruits at lunch and for a snack, if I feel the need after dinner.  </p>

<p>I have averaged around 800 to 1000 calories a day, Monday through Friday. I eat what I want on Saturday and Sunday within reason. I never eat after 7pm. </p>

<p>Although I am off to a good start, I want to know how long will it take me to reach my goal of 150 pounds? Can anybody answer this for me?</p></p><img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/diet-blog/~4/Rvj_qy2e6_k" height="1" width="1"/>]]></content:encoded>

<p>My name Lilly age 18. I guess you could say I'm another teenager trying to lose wieght, I won't deny that, after-all that is the reason i decided to join. </p>

<p>Fact is I need to finish what i started. I have been a constant struggler with weight. I want to make it clear I am not obese. I was however on the verge of becoming overweight. With a height of 1.80m (and always being the tallest when i was younger) i stuck out: i was the "big girl". Unfortunately it wasn't my height which made me big :(</p>

<p>Like many teenagres I have never felt entirely happy with my body and last summer 2009 i reached the peak of my weight 74 kg. I pulled myself toghether and i managed to lose 10 kg. I feel better, i look better and it's a motivation booster. But that was all last year. Since then however i am stuck, i'm not inspired, i eat, eat and eat...</p>

<p>I have my graduation coming up in 6 weeks and i reaally want to lose some more weight, about 4kg. Though most importantly i want to lose wight for my summer holidays. Beginning the first week of July I'm off to the beach with a friend who has an amazing body, and when i say amazing i mean they don't need any makup or fancy dress to go out, she can simply put on a white top and jeans and she looks stunning!</p>

<p>To break it down as you might realize I'm rather talkative, my current weight 65kg my aim for the 1st of July is 58-55kg.</p>

<p>I hope the readers out there can inspire me and motivate me as i have nothing left :D<br />

<p>Having dealt with weight issues all my life l have recently discovered why l have had these issues all of my life! I had a mother who constantly told me l was fat, so l followed that story until l realised that story belonged to my mother and not me.</p>

<p>So then what l had to stop doing was telling my self l was fat which l did everytime l looked in the mirror.I came to the conclusion l had to change my story and my focus when looking in the mirror. In other words l had to say "l love you".</p>

<p>Stop focussing on your obesity and turn your focus onto the other wonderful aspects of yourself. In doing this we remove the energy of our negative thoughts & patterns. Start by looking at the mirror and see yourself happy and your ideal size or goal weight.</p>

<p>Crete a vision board from cut-out pictures of healthy food, women or men at your ideal weight and look, exercising, happy and joyful images. Put this in a place that you will see when you first wake up and when you go to sleep. Start focussing on this new story of yourself as the only way we can change our story by creating a new story.</p>

<p>I think I'll be fine skipping carbs at meals but have the tendency to be a snacker so I wanted to ask some questions here that I am hoping someone can answer!</p>

<p>What kind of snacks do you eat? In the past when I've successfully dieted I've relied on fruit to snack on. </p>

<p>Specifically, what are the best SBD-friendly snacks to eat before a morning workout? Usually I have a banana or half of a granola bar (like a Luna Bar, SoyJoy, etc). I don't like to eat anything egg-based and I just can't see wanting veggies at 6 in the morning! </p>

It was extremely embarrassing when I couldnt fit into the dresses I chose. I am 5'5 and weight 276. That's almost 300 pounds! </p>

<p>I decided that after I discovered my actual weight to do something about it. For the past two weeks I have been trying to eat healthier and smaller portions. I started to walk and work out, I have lost a pound so far, but losing weight is something! </p>

<p>I wanted to know if anyone had any tips for me to help the weight loss along. By the way, it's not as if I'm the size of a house. I have had people tell me I look like a size 16 rather than an 18. I am 18, weigh 165 at 5'6'', and looking to lose 20 pounds.  Only last year I weighed a healthy 135 and was very active in sports. However, recently I have been diagnosed with a medical condition and am restricted from running or other "high impact activities". </p>

<p>I have always eaten a healthy diet that consists of lots of fruits and vegetables, lean meat, and whole grains. For about a month, I have been walking about 6 days a week for 30 minutes at  4 mph. I don't understand what is impeding my weight loss. I was wondering if anyone could suggest "low impact activities" that will tone my body and help me lose weight, as it seems that my current regiment is not working.<br />
         <br />
Also, my medical condition might be slowing down my metabolism; so, is there any foods that naturally speed the metabolism? (I am not willing to use weight loss pills or fad diets).<br />
